PHOTOSHOOTS

2024 - Bridestowe Hall

SEPTEMBER

Okay so technically this was not a photoshoot, but it was my wedding (eeek!) which featured A LOT of my work, most of which I can recreate for other weddings ;) and some of which I don't offer (i.e. florals and cake). Anyway, I thought I would sneak this in as I thought it was all beautiful, and it is a wonderful way to show off all the wedding elements (and I just love re-living it!).

I knew this was a great opportunity to showcase some of my work, and I think it is fair to say I used it well! Plus I did really want to and I enjoyed making it as personal as we could.

So what did I actually do? Well, here's a rough breakdown:

  • Save the dates and invitations (including hand-lettered envelopes)

  • Hand engraved perfume for myself and as gifts

  • Hand engraved bottle of whiskey as a gift

  • Hand-painted jewellery boxes and hand engraved bracelets for my bridesmaids

  • Hand engraved pocket watches

  • Hand lettered his and hers sunglasses

  • Venue illustration guestbook

  • Welcome sign, seating chart and sweets area sign (handwritten on mirrors, those are also available for hire!)

  • Reserved seat signs and other signage around the venue (including a crossword puzzle for the guests)

  • Hand painted leather jacket and shoes (for the evening)

  • Vow booklets

  • Custom shot ski and hand engraved shot glasses

  • Place-cards and table names

  • Hand engraved cake knife and server

  • Hand lettered foam lights

I also did my own flowers - I used fake so I could keep them, plus I wanted really bright colours which would have been difficult (if not impossible?!) to find; I did my own cake (I do love a challenge, can you tell?), and I also had an audio guestbook which I am now also hiring out for weddings and events too!

It was an amazing day and I don't think it could have gone any better than it did, and I love that now I can relate even more with other couples planning their own big day. Whilst it seems like I did a lot myself, I did work with some suppliers that I have credited below.

2024 - Orchardleigh House

APRIL

Another stunning, this time at Orchardleigh House. We had such a great time! I was showcasing my live engraving services and we got some fabulous pictures. I even got to help out being a runner girl with some smoke bombs to get the perfect shot - it was so much fun!

2024 - Crowcombe Court

MARCH

A wonderful shoot in the stunning Crowcombe Court! I had the pleasure of not only providing a selection of stationery and signage (welcome and selfie hand-lettered mirrors, menus, table names, vow booklets and a shot ski), but also had my live engraving set up. A dreamy collection of suppliers on what ended up being a dreamy day!

2023 - Yalham Hayes

AUGUST

I was very lucky to take part in another styled shoot coordinated by the lovely Sam from @wedding_regency. The theme was relaxed, informal, colourful and summery, with a flower meadow as inspiration. The location was absolutely stunning (an actual flower farm!), and it was the most magical day with so many talented souls in the same space.

I created three signs in total; an arch welcome sign and a duo of half arch freestanding signs. The latter consisted of one seating chart and another quote (to go with the flower theme). The combination of sage green and off-white was just so dreamy. Outside we had the arch welcome sign in a glorious coral pink that was just popping in the green surroundings. The menus incorporated a combined place name (in a dreamy gold), and the same wild florals as the welcome sign. We also featured my hand engraved champagne flutes which made the bubbly that much more tasty and stylish!

2022 - Valleyside Barn

DECEMBER

Last year in December I had the pleasure of taking part in my first ever styled wedding shoot, which featured in the June edition of Your Devon & Cornwall Wedding Magazine - You can still view the May/June edition here: www.yourdevoncornwall.wedding/free-download. Whilst I didn't have the pleasure of being there in person, I had a lot of fun creating the place cards (inspired by luggage tags) and the menus, and enjoyed looking through the pictures seeing all the hard work come together for this fun shoot.
